Thanks Toots! I turned 45 this past Wednesday so I suppose it could be a birthday present to myself. However, I've wanted a gaming laptop for twenty some years - so let's just say that I'm tickled! ☺

Happy Belated Birthday.. My birthday is in August too  ;) :)

He even tells me how to spend my money!

@Bart Ell

This what I ended up with.
Of course, a bunch of insurance and anti-virus and all that included. New mouse, mousepad, carrying case, cooling tray... Did I do good?

Sweet rig.  Nice phone.

Weiner, How's that Note?
I haven't really spent too awful much time with it yet but I will say that my old phone had a total storage of 48meg while the note will have a storage of 320meg so that will end a lot of my problems. Eh, it doesn't seem as sturdy as my LG-GStylo but I'm careful with my stuff, for the most part.

That's a lot of storage.  I know you mean GB instead of MB. I remember when 320mb was a lot.  Nowadays, it's a game or two.  Those Notes I've heard are great phones.   We're still using our S4's.  They do everything and more that I use it for, but Bart recommended us to upgrade to S5's and go all modern.  So funny.

Hey Weiner, how many of the states have you been to in your hauls?  And I know you're on the job, but do you ever get a chance to hit those crazy Roadside Attractions?  I love those things, no matter how tacky.

I bought that note8 unlocked with the assurance that it would work ...nope! I tried four different carriers and none wanted anything to do with it. THIS is why I hate change!!!!
I was able to switch it for an S8 and it's okay - I'm  not a phone guy so I'm not particular.
