Sondra Locke, 74.

RIP pretty lady.  (Notice that she died back on November 3rd?  Very unusual to hold back on a death notification for that long.)

Really need to watch the film, The Heart is A Lonely Hunter, from '68 that brought her a lot of accolades.  Of course, I remember her from the Eastwood films.  She was also in a movie that was remade recently with Keanu Reeves as Knock, Knock.  RIP, Miss Locke.

She was hilarious as Oscar Madison's secretary on "The Odd Couple."  Never much cared for "Laverne and Shirley."

Yes.  I wouldn't have remembered the character's last name.

Supposed Jose Escamilla died. But I can't find any obit or news source for this, maybe, rumor? But heard folks mention on shows and on some forums. He was the guy who introduced the world to "rods" (and "skyfish") and a guest whose theory was called "real" by Art. One of the few times I recall where Art was adamant and clear that a guest's bizarre claims was totally true and legitimate and he believed it and Jose "had the evidence."

I guess the cigars, whiskey, and tacos were bound to eventually fail in their longevity-making properties. RIP Richard Overton, formerly our nation's oldest living veteran.

He obviously didn't eat enough Twinkies to preserve his organs. 🙄

Hope he had a good quality of life and got the recognition he deserved while he was alive.

Some bad lifestyle choices and decisions, apparently.  Condolences to the wife and daughter especially.  You would think a television personality in one of the country's biggest markets would "party," or whatever, in a place rather than a Days Inn in the middle of the day with some unreported male.

"death of KTLA Morning News reporter and weekend anchor Chris Burrous is being investigated as a possible overdose, police said Thursday. Burrous was found unresponsive at a Days Inn in Glendale after a male he was with called authorities around 1:15 p.m"

Some weather girl snuffed it up East somewhere just last week, too.  Was that drugs?

Sadly that was an apparent suicide. Apparently she had a lasic surgery that went wrong and had lots of pain and eye problems, or something.  It doesn't take much to read into this "accidental overdose," in the middle of the afternoon, an "unidentified male" reports it, Hollywood, Days Inn (though he lives in area,) and wife and child somewhere else even though schools are shut down for the Holidays and so likely they would be at home.
