Can’t imagine what’s in the heads of the producers of some of these flicks. Just reading the descriptions of some is nauseating.

Only movie on the list I’ve watched besides Clockwork Orange and The Exorcist was Audition. Not as disturbing as I expected. Some of the others sound much worse.

Murder-Set-Pieces at #38?  That movie was so ridiculous, campy, and stupid. Who cares about the gore?...it didn't matter.  Disturbing is not what I'd use to describe it.  Then again, maybe I'm desensitized.  Nonetheless I've seen a handful of these.  Some I'd like to see for the shock factor.  Others because of their legend.

 The psychological is much scarier to me than the gore-porn so fashionable in movies today.
"The Tenant" was also frigging scary and disturbing.

YAY Mother made the list just in at 60. Most know I pimped this movie hard last year.  A lot of people hated it, but it was so f*cked up I liked it a lot

I want to see Killing of a Sacred Dear (#51) heard it's pretty strange as well

Requiem for a Dream (#9) was not fun to sit through. One of those movies you leave totally depressed

They be eaten' folks   This movie is based on a misunderstanding when the save the rain forest activists plane crashes in the jungle. Basically the locals think these poor buggers are the bad guys. Things go wrong, things get rough, hacking off limbs and such. And then it gets disturbing.  They don't even say Grace before they eat.

Some on the list are weak though the writer gets it right with the top one.  Eraserhead didn't do much for me.  It wasn't half as disgusting as I thought it would be. Mostly it is just boring.

Eyes Without A Face is a great horror film but it is not revolting.  Seven, really?  I confess I have probably only seen 1/6 of the movies on this list but a few are coming up shortly.  I will not watch Pink Flamingos. Sorry.
