remember if some online service is free, it is highly likely that YOU are the product.

And very cynically and interestingly FB specifically told marketers (and who knows who else) that they could identify "insecure," "depressed," or "feeling useless" children and teens so they could be targeted.

And then we also got all the "free" apps from foreign countries spying or data-mining you. And things like certain apps, like FB, still "working" on certain phones even if you have no account and cannot be deleted.
