Midnight in the Diner, ep.02: Livingston, Texas

Houston?

I've been down around Houston,Texas
Where the sun shines most of the time
I've been driving about six hours
Tryin' to reach that Arkansas line

But Texarkana's an hour ahead
And I've got to keep my wheels
Rolling

I've been out here for eleven years and so far I've been hit by a car, a minivan, and I've had a tanker truck run over the front of mine.
Par for the course!

Imagine that being wrapped in bacon instead of breading - That's what I had! Heaven on Earth, my friend, Heaven on Earth. 🌎

Lake Benton, SW Minnesota.
Sudden downpour and the temperature took an immediate drop from 80 to 72F. No hail so I wasn't too concerned.

Eh, an ordinary day on the plains, doncha' know?!

I saw that movie for sale the other day and I didn't buy it. I'm still kicking myself!

Please post your diner food recommendations by State... (i.e what would be the signature dish for each State you have visited?)

I'm not feeling that well so I probably won't this time, but Minnesota is one of my favorite states for food.
Cheese curds, summer sausage, red apples, and a big can of Foster's Lager and I am at peace with the world!
