I don't drink any soda. The carbonation burns my throat. I'll make the rare exception for A&W root beer occasionally though.
I forgot the place name now but I had some free root beer at a meat market in Wisconsin that makes their own and it...was....friggin...awesome! I hardly ever drink cokes but thought ""I could drink that all day." So much better than root beer from cans or fountain. Darn good. Almost too good. Then I learned that there are all kinds of root beers up there, like microbreweries. Go figure. A state that likes beer also like root beer.
