Demand reparations!

there's a new mental illness being sold on the radio, ACES.

If everybody is deemed mentally ill, they will not be trusted with their second amendment rights, I believe that some fourth amendment rights and maybe fifth and sixth amendment rights might also be affected. Because, you lose the right to defend yourself, your confidential comments to medical professionals could be shared and if your mental, they can search you under an overwhelming need excuse...
It's important not to be deemed a danger to others.  In this state, that's how they do it.  And maybe felons.

I deserve reparations.  My ancestors were brought over here as indentured servants and the conditions were so bad, fewer than ones third were alive seven years later.  That's a lot of ancestral trauma.
Obama made reparations to descendants of slaves and paid very huge, long overdue Native American health care debts.

damn, that is sad, so he's acknowledging it now. I wonder what illnesses/diseases affect your voice. Just being 74 isn't the reason, lots of people that age doing radio and they're not losing their voice. maybe he's been battling something major like cancer but he's been stoic about it. though stoicism is something I'd never predict Noory capable of.

i haven't listened this week, the guests offer nothing to me.
He worked sick earlier in spring.  It was ridiculous.  So his recovery from that flu or whatever took forever.  Then he had a set back where he seemed to have a cold again, but continued to work.  It's just ridiculous self-abuse.  By not resting his voice when it was sick I think he damaged it semi-permanently, depending on how he handles it now.  I mean, talking for about 3 hours a night Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs and some Fridays and Sundays is a lot.  Plus, the new Coast You Tube channel doesn't seem like re-runs, but seems like totally new shows so he's talking in all of those, which are long and are loaded very frequently.  Plus Beyond Belief, more talking for several hours straight if you include talking to producers, doing the whole job for however long the videos are.  Some kinds of pain and injury a person SHOULD NOT PUSH THROUGH OR THEY RISK DISABLING THAT BODY FUNCTION WITH PERMANENT INJURY.  Same with ligament pain.  You just don't push it.  I think he's being very stupid.

Maybe, he quietly quits a half hour early each evening.
But hasn't that gone on for years and years?  I'll never forget the day I realized it.  All of the sudden the disclaimer "This show has been pre-recorded" suddenly made sense.

Maybe you know, @Sofia... When did his annual announcement of his 5-year contract renewal end?
Eh, nevermind...

In honor of Father's Day (one day late) Noory tonight added a special guest appearance by actor Paul Peterson who played the son on the Donna Reed Show in the early 1960s, featured an old song he sang to his dad.

Another buddy of Noory's like Billy Mumy...  :D

George must've been a mama's boy that watched TV all the time. He treated that as if it wss real heartfelt personal sentiment. It was from a freaking TV show! I switched to redeye radio even though the signal is really weak. I get three stations all out of town that carry redeye.
Eh, nevermind...

George sounds really tired. Sure he never does any homework and is boring, but his voice sounds exhausted.

He does at least eight hours of show prep a day.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

May explain why most nights he now leaves a half hour early and replays part of an old interview from years ago, like he did last night!

His first guest tonight was a professor from Boston University who's an expert on the Sphinx. I wasn't really listening closely but my ears perked up when I heard our dullard host ask the professor 'Is it really awe inspiring when you stand next to the Sphinx?'

this man is 74 years old, has plenty of money, not married, kids on their own and hosts a show that frequently covers Biblical prophecies and yet he has never bothered to even visit the Middle East - oh, and his own parents and grandparents are from Lebanon. The only travel it appears he's done in his entire life is a trip to some shitty resort in Mexico where he supposedly got kidnapped by a taxi driver. THE WORLD'S MOST UNINTERESTING AND UNINTERESTED MAN. That profile of him somebody posted here a few months ago where the writer described Noory sitting all alone in the bar of the Beverly Hills Hotel imagining Frank Sinatra and Humphrey Bogart would be joining him to do some boozing and carousing was tragically pathetic. All the writer had to do to get his exclusive one on one with the legendary radio host was send him an ass kissing email to which Noory replied with an invitation to meet him in the Beverly Hills Hotel bar because he's so lonely.

Noory won't go anywhere there's not a Chili's or Applebee's. 'Do yeeew know if there's a Baskins Robbins at the bottom of the Sphinx and things like that?'

And Noory even mentioned his father was born in Cairo Egypt yet he has never gone there.
In contrast I remember when Art Bell took a week long trip to Egypt and met with Zahi Hawass and broadcast from there in the 90s.

so the second guest was some UFO ancient civilization crank, in the middle of the interview he loses his connection - oh so mysterious!
anyway, while Tommy's efforting to get the guest back Noory's picks up a call from a listener, of course it's you know who, Cornelius, been there probably since 3 in the afternoon. Cornelius says 'it always happens, they don't want us to know the truth George.' he's such a shill he knows his role is to back up Noory's claims that there are sinister forces out there who interfered with the show, Hoagland does the same shtick. So he asks Corny how he's doing - Cornelius wanted to thank some Coast listeners, power company cut off his power a month ago and it's been 100 degrees down in Louisiana n' stuff and he's been roasting n' stuff. I guess some listeners got him some money to get the electricity on.

Cornelius actually sounds more interesting than Norry.
