I was just thinking about this thread the other day and how I enjoyed talented Gabsters posting their oeuvres. Thanks @Bart Ell. Did you notice toward the very end of the song there was a sign selling bomb shelters?  @KSM can't be Utah. Palm trees. Probably a LA Valley

Yes, T.L., LA proper.  I spotted the MAY Co. dept. store and Tilfords's Restaurant.  Also the movie The Frogmen was playing.  It was released in 1951.  That was great, Bart!

All I saw was,    Cars.  And the old lady at the end who stopped walking and looked at the camera, only to shake her head and carry on. She looked irritated. I wonder who she was and where she was going. Something to do with tuna casserole, I'm sure.

The guitars are bit of an auditory illusion @KSM
There is a synth fattening them up.
I TOOK your idea of presenting something in layers to show what I mean.

I am currently on a The Sisters Of Mercy kick which means Bairyn is getting annoyed with hearing me say methedrine and dance with a British accent.

I thought you may enjoy some of the signs... Franilla Ice Cream stood out to me as did the bomb shelter ad @TigerLily mentioned.

I AM THE LAYER KING.
We used to do that song in a cover situation. We had the keyboards sampled and I just played the riff on guitar. Sounded good.  Layers  ;D
Unrelated side note: We also did Drivers Seat (Art Bell bumper) it would pack the floor but as the extremely repetitive drum beat went on and on in scissor like fashion the floor would empty every time. Morons night after night expecting a different result.

As I mentioned a few days ago, @KSM , the reverse divebomb can be a gloryhole for the ears...

@Bart Ell

Yes. I do like it. A lot! It sounds like a siren going off.

I know there are better examples like the one you played, but here, in this song below, one of my favorite songs of all time BTW (Mainly for vocals) a slight reverse bomb happens a few times. Interesting tune. Quirky.

Lenny Wolf was great at sounding like a reverse divebomb himself, he does a good one 20 seconds in.

That reverse dive bomb is easily accomplished between the right notes on my trombone slide.  Used it all the time with circus bands.
