Dear PINK NOSE BUNNY  ::)
Rich or poor, it does not matter. Most Preaches use a traditional Wedding Vows script.
Opening words spoken by the Preacher.
1-Question of Intent-bride and groom will answer YES. IE. Forsaking all others.
2-The Vows-both the bride and the groom will repeat the words/vows spoken by the Preacher. IE I take my FATHER IN LAW'S MONEY   you to be my husband.
3-The Rings-again, the bride and the groom repeat the word spoke by the Preacher. IE. With this ring, I thee wed.
4-Declaration-You say nothing. The preacher declares the groom and bride as HUSBAND and WIFE.
Now you can spend your father in law’s money.

Hmmm, I guess you are asking how this differs from a hillybilly wedding?  The Preacher or Parson will talk about you and him uniting in marriage and will give you console. You exchange vows, and blah blah blah.  The Preacher will give a chance for anyone to try to block the wedding.  There will be a part where you say "I Do"  and he says "I Do" (drop your dialect and don't say "Yup") Your parents would be playing a role, particularly in the cost, but it sounds like the groom's family  might be doing it.  Just like a hillybilly wedding, the groom will then stick his tongue down your throat has far as he can,  and no one in the audience will know.  This is the part where you don't say anything, like "Yuk", just smile.  You will know it's coming when the Preacher says "you can now kiss the Bride"

Dear Gold digging bunny
The preacher will say a lot of boring stuff about love, honor, obey, maybe preach a little sermon. There Will eventually be a time for you to cross your fingers and say I do. After the ceremony there is a time for your new husband to slip the preacher an envelope. Be sure he does that because afterwards he sighs the  wedding license, and you’ve officially gotten your father-in-law hooked.

The bride should say as little as possible so asnot to screw up the gravy train. The groom will say a lot as you should be sure to get him good and drunk so that your first night will get things over quickly.
Merry Christmas

I'm having a bit of a medical problem.  The next Mrs. Thompson quiz will be delayed somewhat.  I'll get it going again, once I get myself fixed up.  Take care everybody.

OH NO! This is my favorite thread in ELLGAB.
You are in my prayers for your medical problems. Get a real doctor to fix you up. Mrs Thompson and I cannot go on without you.

OK @Bart Ell and/or EllBabers until Mrs. Thompson’s fiancé returns, how about tossing a question from A READER. I know I will answer the question. Please help me out. I do NOT want to return to that phony baloney thread. One more extra request. PLEASE do not drag Hw & Co into this great thread.

Dear Mrs @FISH

100 years ago what would be the best way to get a panang curry stain out of a white cotton shirt?
