Was this guy for real or what?

Maybe just "Fake News". The Professor will let us know.

Hmm. Never heard of him, damn sad story though. Would have been interesting to see how far he'd rise should things have been different.

We have a professor in our midst?

The only good looking green guitar I've seen was the Cadillac green Gretsch.
Now you're talkin'

Yes.

@KSM

I discovered a guitar in my storage... An Ibanez Artist...

With only a couple of binding cracks, almost every fret is sprouting. Considering your recent move to Colorado, did you take any guitars in for fret work and how much did it cost? I want to get a larger view of pricing because fret work around here is upwards of $200.

I'd rather sell the guitar at a big discount than pay $200 to get it so I can play for 5 minutes and then start complaining about pain. I also thought about filing it myself, that ain't happening with all of that binding around it.

Wow. Ibanez Artist. Haven't seen one of those in many moons.

My frets are fine out here. I play often, and no problems. My 07 reissue Gold Top in WA has always had a 3rd buzzed fret but you can't hear it when it's plugged in so I just left it, not to say that it didn't irritate me. A refretting for the Artist may be between $150 - $250.

So what are you going to do?

Watch for Jaguar news - both quarterbacks were injured last night, so Rourke may be up this week.

OH!  OK.
Thank you.

Time to shine or time to rust.

Long time caller (and major loon) Myet from NYC asked George to have Tom give Corny her phone number so they could talk.  How cool would it  be to be the proverbial fly on the wall to hear that conversation?
