Here's some of Spoogles bullshit lies for suckers.
They really do have pure contempt for their user base.  >:(

https://freedom-to-tinker.com/2019/08/23/deconstructing-googles-excuses-on-tracking-protection/

But of course they want to track everything you do - it's how they make their money.

A very detailed history of googles tracking from a link in the above articles' comments.

@Whistler Thank you for that!  I don't know where I read it but it did say that googall is storing all users history until 2038. Whatever that means..  I will now check out the second article :D

PS  I don't know what the hell to make of your new avatar :o

@LOL

(Off Tangent: Did you know your registration # is also the C.I.D. of a killer, screaming,  Pontiac mill ?    :)  )

Well, this place keeps getting referred to as the 'Cat-Lady' site, so...   .
As luck would have it, I came across that pic on a defunct Operating System - an Amiga clone - and I couldn't resist lifting it for an avatar.   :D
(No, I'm not into furries.)
It's a kinky S & M Cat-Lady, shot across the bow - in good (?) humor.
And,  look at the happy anticipation on 'Tux'es face.  :o
Heh, heh, heh.

Did you download any of the docs at the end?  Can you share two with me:  Censorship, and Machine Learning Fairness?

I see what you mean.
Yeah, I wouldn't download any addons either - just to DL a file - no matter how trustworthy a source.
The PDF for Machine Learning Fairness is 26.6 MB if you want it.
It really does show you how Fucked in the head, Spoogles thinking is though. (Totally PC  Communistic)
https://www.projectveritas.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/SS1DocDump.pdf

There's also an update @ https://www.projectveritas.com/2019/06/24/insider-blows-whistle-exec-reveals-google-plan-to-prevent-trump-situation-in-2020-on-hidden-cam/  that contains some of the info in the PDF.

I block Javascript by default, and also only selectively allow offsite (of the webpage I'm on) content (pics, vids) to display or run, so most times I don't  see the crap most other people have come to accept as normal, when a webpage renders; things like that nice little overlay telling people they need to add (unknown) code to their browser - code that you have no idea of what it is, or contains.  :(

Here's 3 more search engines that may be of interest - to avoid Spoogle.

https://www.oscobo.com/

  https://lite.qwant.com/

https://www.yippy.com/    (I already posted this link, but I think it's worth mentioning again)

None of them require JavaScript to work - something that's more and more common (requiring JS), and has no place in a search engine, especially one that's supposed to be secure or privacy oriented.

Check their 'about' pages to see if they are acceptable, and maybe a review or two.

Startpage and DDG are okay if you want spoogle results through a proxy. The three above don't return too many spoogle results, and they each work differently.
AFAIC Spoogle has declared itself the enemy of free speech.

WARNING !

I'm redacting any and all recommendations for the use of Startpage (IXQuick also.)
They can no longer be trusted.

Ecosia is assigning a Bing tracking ID to every user...
...While the “Bing Client ID” can be manually disabled by the user, most people probably are not even aware of it.

I just bought a fourth laptop so that I could have me some more Google!
It is not a mere Windows 10 space problem?  At this rate, I'll need a new laptop every year.
