How dare they refer to Alexandria Moltke Isles as a mere soap opera actress.

Jeremy Irons met the real Claus von Bülow three years after the release of the film. Irons commented "he didn't tell me anything I didn't already know." Irons recalled that von Bulow asked him if he was aware that the real Alan M. Dershowitz was (at the time) representing Leona Helmsley and Mike Tyson. Irons replied that he was aware of that, to which von Bulow quipped: "I don't suppose you've been asked to play either of them, have you?"

That's either a brilliant line or smart-assed snark.

Broke out my Funk and Wagnall's on her.  No reference to CvB.  Born in Uppsala, nice place.
Eh, nevermind...

An incredible documentary (on Netflix or Amazon).  He certainly got his mother's "way the fuck out there" gene.

Tragic case until he went under the conservatorship.

Eh, nevermind...

They just announced on our local news that our Louisiana great, Dr. John, died this morning at age 77 of a heart attack. 😢

Thank you, Dr. John, for many years of music fun! Rest In Peace. And maybe play a little New Orleans Funk for all “‘dem God’s chillin’ up ‘dere”.

I really liked Dr. John's album Babylon when it was first released back in 1968. Though I was careful not to show my friends that Sonny and Cher's names were printed on the back of it.  (Actually they didn't appear on the album.  They did give Dr. John their left over studio time though, and that helped him make the album.)

I heard a lot about him and Leon Russell and how networked-up they were.

Who's next? A Neville brother?  Pete or Roger from The Who?

Accomplished without the TV show.  Mother of 12. Legacy in her kids. (Although they seemed very white trash, maybe that's the industry. .)

Billy Drago, one of my favorite movie 'bad guys' has died at the age of 73.  Billy starred in a lot of movie and television shows.  I really liked him in the Chuck Norris movie “Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection” as drug lord Ramon Cota.  RIP, Billy.
