RCH was good the other night with Clyde. Clyde was eating his stuff up and RCH was, relatively, subdued and stuck, relatively again for RCH, with the subject. A fun show since it has been awhile since I've heard RCH. A caller into C2C the other night asked about RCH and Norry sorta huffed and said "he is doing fine" and "his choice to leave."

I miss Hoagland on Coast. One of my favorite shows on Coast was when the Mars rovers had landed or something, and NASA was interactive or broadcasting on that night. Hoagland was there to provided minute by minute commentary about the rovers while he was on the air with Norry. I personally felt part of the activity and it was so dynamic for a radio show.

They have been making kissy face for a while. I listen to pretty much all of Clyde’s shows, have done since around 2011ish, his gov stuff puts me off as I am not in the US, so it’s all a big car crash to me whichever slant is put on it. His stuff with Jimmy Church riles me a bit, so I tend to skip his segments. I never really liked him or his show, and even less since that shit with the Ouija board the other week which was in very poor taste even for a no hoper like Church. Apart from the fact they are both premiere rats, I don’t really understand why Clyde blots his copy book by having Church on the shows. I’d even prefer to listen to Hoagie over Church and I really can’t stand listening to Hoagie.

I thought the first hour tonight, was Clyde at his best. He was just being himself, and showed patience I haven't heard in a long time. I tune him in 2 maybe 3 times a week. Depends on the subject...guest etc.

Indeed. And I love how he flashes "do not ask about downloads". That is my thing. Understand why h doesnt allow and give him credit. Right now bit even when at home or big cities. Ability to archive, listen on external cheap mp3 player that I dont care about, still have phone or computer that can be used. Etc. Dont like streaming anything unless when forced (phone call, live sports, driving, and then use XM, radio, etc.) Norry for me is working in my yard, garage, atv, chainsaw, etc. Loud n want white noise under ear-mufflers. Haha.
Thanks tho. Gotta say, not missing him. Missing some of the fun commentary while listening, or later here on hs shows.

Like you, I still can handle him at times but not so much anymore. Him putting the shows on Soundcloud is great. Yeah...the moods. He comes across as an insufferable prick. I tried to find out what happened here in Richmond back in April. I don't believe him, and haven't been able to get anything substantial. The consensus that I've heard though is that he was the problem and not the alleged hecklers. Supposedly the accusation is 2 friends of the owner were abusive to Clyde. Okay. If that were the case then why would the owner book him and waste time and money from potential customers? This happened at Buddy's Place. He never mentioned going there on his show. He said GwarBar. I intended on going to GwarBar but decided I need not spend the money. Regardless, by the time I would've gotten there he would be gone. He never said he was doing a pub crawl. He just announced being at GwarBar. I suspect this was all a ruse for publicity.

I have been enjoying Clyde Lewis more recently as the topics and guests have taken a good upswing.
I appreciate his show articles. I just dislike that he has to repeat himself a lot due to different radio affiliates tuning in every half hour.

Those shows reminded me of Art when he had the disguised caller on about the alien J-Rod that we had held as captive. Anyway, Clyde's caller Sam said it was all about HAARP, SMAAC, and HAMMER. I thought maybe those were the possibly illegal alien replacements for SNAP, CRACKLE, and POP.

Recent show about vampire, blood, etc was pretty good. Guest was a bit flaky but a vampire so? Clyde was somewhat mean to callers, as usual recently, but also lots of callers were bad and barely able to speak (nerves, drunk, who knows) but some interesting subjects he related together (DNA, ancient and Biblical provisions and legends, drinking/eat bodily fluids, vampires, and even andrenochrome and the latest stuff about getting transfusions etc to stay young.) Instead of C2C listened to that washing the car and mowing and was better than Norry and some interesting stuff.

Far more integrated into the scene than most would care to admit was a guy by the name of Charles Manson, along with his murderous entourage. Also floating about the periphery were various political operatives, up-and-coming politicians, and intelligence personnel - the same sort of people who just happened to give birth to many of the rock stars populating the canyon. And all of the canyon's colorful characters - rock stars, hippies, murderers, and politicos - happily coexisted alongside a covert military installation.
Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon is the very strange, but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a hippie utopia.

Lewis hasn't been on San Diego radio in ages. I think because it was only one hour a day leading into C2C, that he was paying for his airtime. They replaced him by repeating the final hours of the previous night's C2C.

I quit listening once he put the new shows behind a pay wall. He is doing one less hour than he usually does and now charges for it. While I enjoy an occasional show from him I don't enjoy it enough to pay for it.

I get that completely. You can listen for free to the full 4 hour show live on the aftermedia site (and app) or talk stream (free as well). It’s easy. However, yes, to go back and listen to archives it’s 5.99 a month subscription. Most shows charge for such. However many in this form of media are experiencing cut offs, unusual interceptions from anything that rattles the mainstream narrative. So he’s not the only one having to do this. I don’t always stay up that late to listen to the whole show live so subscribed. And deleted bullshit tv and other mindless streaming less crap that’s far more costly.
Lately I’ve cut back as I can only handle so much of it. And Hi! It’s been a while! Ha!

KOGO (600 AM, San Diego) had him on 9-10 p.m. M-F. He had since been dropped for a replay of C2C from the previous evening. Doh!
I see him as working really hard to "sell it," kind of like a much-improved Heather Wade.
Some shows were survivable, topic dependent. He'd gang up with the guest too often for me and root for a theory. Art Bell most often didn't, he still asked probing questions.

Hoagland tried to tie in school shootings with Roswell and other crashes. He said we could've gotten "force shield" technology from the crash, but the powers that be purloined the technology and are keeping it to themselves.
