Weird.  He's older than I could have imagined.

We haven't even hit a streak of 60s stars...

PS Eddie Money apparently died of an issue with his heart after a valve replacement surgery.
Eh, nevermind...

Yes, it seems that way.  But then again, they are old.

In 100 years, you can post their obituaries @Rikki Gins

Ric Ocasek is older than guys who were on the scene 15 years before him.  I know the Cars were a long time cover band but....

Bob Dylan (78 years old); Paul McCartney (77); Paul Simon (77) and Art Garfunkel (77); Carole King (77); Brian Wilson (77); Mick Jagger (76) and Keith Richards (75); Joni Mitchell (75); Jimmy Page (75) and Robert Plant (71); Ray Davies (75); Roger Daltrey (75) and Pete Townshend (74); Roger Waters (75) and David Gilmour (73); Rod Stewart (74); Eric Clapton (74); Debbie Harry (74); Neil Young (73); Van Morrison (73); Bryan Ferry (73); Elton John (72); Don Henley (72); James Taylor (71); Jackson Browne (70); Billy Joel (70); and Bruce Springsteen (69, but turning 70 next month).

I know me my Beverly Hills 90210, who is this guy?

I used to take young Japanese ladies on the 90210 tour through Pasadena, by the Spelling house (I had a friend who was a PA to Mr. Spelling and got me access a couple of times to the driveway, not inside the house or even close). We would also go by the beach house...

It is on those tours that I learned that a single meal from Barney's Beanery could feed four 25 year old women from the Land of the Rising Sun.  Bob Newhart used to walk his dog at that park near the Spelling mansion.  I only saw him once oh, that was cool.

Eh, nevermind.

He appeared in two episodes as someone named Tiny.

Without googling it, I can guess that he was one of Steve's friends.

I actually watched some of the reboot and have decided I want to try watching the whole thing.

Barney's Beanery

Is there still a Barney’s in Redondo? If I remember correctly, it’s around fishermans warf and they have old license plates hanging from the ceiling.

Sans Google, I don't remember where my Barney's was, I only know of the one.  Great meeting place, tons of food at a fair price.  Ohm's drummer died on stage there.

That is one of the scariest lists I have ever seen, @sean92008. Eeesh. In my mind they (and I) are all still in their late 20's - early '30's.  :'(

Thanks for posting this, @sean92008. I was very saddened this morning to hear this, she was a real pioneer as an early woman news reporter. She was intelligent, did good research, and was highly respected. In addition she had a very interesting life which she didn't speak about till later on iirc. I will miss her voice and her mood of reason when reporting. +1

@Aquarius,  I don't know what's worse, you thinking you are still in your 20s or me not remembering my 20s.
