Ya know, this thread has veered sooo far off the tracks. Nobody's cooperating!  This is what I don't miss about running a board. We once had a Coffee thread that eventually turned into 20+ pages dedicated to arguing about horses! Really mean stuff, too. Horses, such passionate and occasionally extremely verbose comments.

Stern show, John the stutterer 08 and later. Before then I had never heard the term. All I heard was, "fuckin' long hairs" when unloading the bus in a new town but this started in 89-90 as I wasn't old enough to be in the bars in 86. Not even in Alberta where 18 was the admissible age.
