I think actor Norman Fell is one of those types that cannot be De-Oldified. Watched the movie
Pork Chop Hill where plays an infantry radio man in the Korean War. He was a reasonably young man at the time at the time the movie was shot but he really didn't look much different than he would decades later on the TV show "Three's Company".
I guess Fell is just one those types that looked like a more mature guy. He also must have been a pretty brave guy in real life - serving as a tail gunner on a B-25 in WWII.
