This reverse effect  happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I would have sworn on a stack of thirteen blue goatskin cover bibles that Kirk Douglas was still alive. I don't remember hearing dick about it. Nothing.  I find that kind of troublesome. Where the hell was I? Gilligan's Island? Off the grid with my toes in the sand, and a drink in my hand?

Even worse,  if I DID hear about it and then forgot about it, I find that absolutely fucking unnerving.
