Yeah, a couple of different radio stations did not mention covid at all...

I always think of the Jerry Seinfeld interview when I think of Larry King.  That was classic! Almost George Noory-like; totally clueless and making presumptions.

I've also been thinking about Gregory Sierra more. Thing is with him, he walked away from the ground floor of a classic television show to be the star of another show that failed to get off the ground. Bad career move.

It was one of my favorite moments of television ever. I was happy I caught it live, it had me giggling the entire night.

I know you are not alone in thinking Larry was clueless and I also so alot of people who thought Jerry was a jerk there. I just didn't see that.

King knew Seinfeld wasn't cancelled, he even said "You gave it up, they didn't  cancel you, you cancelled them" it was a leading question for Jerry to answer why he stopped doing the show. As for Jerry, it seemed like an opportunity to be funny and go to a schtick. I never thought he took it seriously as was having a laugh on King's expense, but looking online I in the minority that a lot of people took it more seriously. I thought it was just a great funny moment.

Why did I hear about Larry Flynt in the news? I thought he was long dead. Maybe it was a lawyer for him I don't know.

I'm sure that every Neve ever made is tracked and accounted for...  Dave Grohl made a movie starring the board and the building it was in.

Was there a Neve at Caribou Studios?  That place had a fire, maybe the board didn't survive.
Eh, nevermind...

I remember reading an article that it survived and was bought by a studio in Europe.

Yup -

Vintage King Restores Caribou Ranch Neve 8016

Detroit, MI (June 3, 2009)--Vintage King Audio recently completed a full restoration on the Neve 8016 console that was once part of the legendary Caribou Ranch recording studio. After a four-month refurbishment, the console was sold and delivered to Prime Studio in Austria for its control room B, an all-analog suite that officially opened June 1.
