“Ditto! Ditto!”
GOD SPEED RUSH.
As Rush reached the pearly gates, Gabriel blew his horn, someone played the bag pipes and William F. Buckley Jr. welcomed him home. The TALENT was returned to GOD.

The show they aired the day of his death was a big fucking train wreck. They had a year to prepare for it and they had so many production problems, it was really bad. Rush would have been embarrassed.

I posted here before that during his last show, he said straight up that he was having a difficult time breathing. The producers could have started doing something right then and there. Yet, still, they were not ready.

It got to the point that show was unlistenable for me.

Eh, nevermind...

Fry’s Electronics

They've been on life support for a long time. You know who really loses with that? All of the companies who put their inventory in their stores on consignment, which I hear is pretty much everybody who has anything in that store.

It just dawned on me... With all those things for sale on consignment, Fry's electronics does not need to have a big clearance sale. Although the people that did put product in those stores will now have to collect it.  Not everything in the store is on consignment, some of the inventory is left over from when they used to buy it from their vendors. That's why the store is would have the occasional TV antenna or hard drive.

I think the guy's name is Robert Fry, he makes his real money on real estate.  the only people hurt by his mismanagement are his employees.
Eh, nevermind...

I remember visiting a friend in the south bay, and going to Fry's for the first time.  Holy shit, so this is where all the engineers at the software company I was working for got all their stuff

The Fry family used the store to bankroll other interests.  Parasitic drain goes back to 2005 or so...

I'd stay a Monica Lewinsky line of tissues would be a big seller in this post #metoo and covid world!  The official tissue of the Players With Yourself Club.

(Sadly, I cannot find a link to the original SNL video of Players with Yourself Club with Phil Hartman)
