Listening to Art Bell from 1997 on U7Radio.org and the-then recent death of Eugene Shoemaker was discussed. Google brought me to learning of the head-on crash that killed him and seriously injured his wife.

She worked a few miles east of here at the Palomar Observatory.

She died a month ago.

Rickie Lee had to have been their rhythm guitarist.  Two other guys traded off leads in all the videos I've seen of the band.  Speaking of the vids, whoever played bass was outstanding.
