Hawaii Five-0... one of my favorites.  Plus, there are plenty of episodes to enjoy.  I’m hoping MeTV starts playing it again, soon.  It’s been awhile since it was on their schedule.

Hey, where's the girl coming out of the water in a bikini?

Well she appears at 29 seconds in the intro of the pilot of the 1997 remake with Gary Busey as the McGarrett replacement.   ;)

You’d think Steve’s secretary would have had one stashed somewhere.  Then there’s all the villainy.  However, Wo Fat didn’t strike me as a Selectric type.

Probably have to wait for a scene featuring a doctor's office or office of the governor. Or an indigenous business. Which would be even cooler - since it would not be a prop typewriter but in actual use in Hawaii at the time.

I'd forgotten about Wo Fat.  The actor who played him was not Chinese, I think his parents were of Portugese and Egyptian/Sudanese descent.  I remember TV Guide did an article on him back in the 70s, he remarked how funny it was he was playing a Chinese character.  Doubt that interview would have gone over well today.

In the reboot, they used the video from the original series of the girl walking out of the water.  The particular video above was edited, to me it seems like it was done for PC-ness.

I'm sitting in a car dealership, laughing out loud all alone does not look really good here. I wonder if they'll let me test drive something now... 😁
Eh, nevermind...

He may be six feet under but he may also be better preserved.

That was a great show and one great if you sit down and watch it with a Google search for every business shown in the background. It's amazing that some of those mom and pop shops are still in business. I wonder if it's on Roku or Hulu or something.
The original H50 is available on Paramount+ also sometimes they show a few free episodes on Pluto.

Maybe they’ll give you a quick, good deal, to get rid of “the crazy man.”  ;)

I was a kid when I first came across Hawaii Five-0.  And immediatly had a thing for the girl on the beach half way into the intro.

"Elizabeth Logue was born in 1941 as Elizabeth Louise Malamalamaokalani White. She is an actress, known for Hawaii (1966) and Nude Odyssey (1961).  University of Hawaii's Miss Air Force ROTC in 1959. Well-known as the girl running down the beach and seen facing the camera in the title sequence of Hawaii Five-O (1968)."
