Former Georgia Senator and VA Adminstrator Max Cleland .

He was promoted as a Vietnam hero, but he told me himself about the grenade explosion that took an arm and both legs.  He was on a helicopter beer run.  Hopped out of the chopper door to the ground and a grenade snagged on something and went off.

Beyond that, he was a decent guy who tried to help vets.
Merry Christmas

Does anyone remember this 1971 Dean Stockwell CBS TV movie but me? None of my peers do.

And THEY claim to be hackers.

I acutely remember being sorely disappointed that there wasn't an actual Paper Man Monster, despite the teasers showing a mummy-like being  dragging its spindled and mutilated feet down the hall.

Maybe I'm imagining that. As Warren Zevon would say, I was an excitable young boy.

( Paper Man may have even motivated certain embryonic hackers to grow toward the Black Hat light. Take that, Mr. RobotAmateurs. )

Sorry, no recollection of this movie, at all.

According to modern standards, as established by the FBI and all the other letter organizations, you are a liar!

+1
Hahahaha

( Also, I like how, due to lower case font bleed, an unintended pun is formed. MODERN looks like MODEM. Lol.  At one point in the movie it is pointed out that these big brain computers are talking to each other over the phone network.)

Awww.  Now I got to Google to see what day I met him...  15 years ago, maybe. He's the third or fourth Moody to die.  Ray Thomas, the original bassist (Clint Warwick) and maybe Mike Pinder. Gooooooogle!
Eh, nevermind...

It should.  The opening theme for his short-lived “Dark Matter.”

I will always remember The Moody Blues most for their Court TV appearance while being sued by Patrick Moraz.

Flash thought...  Watts, Edge...  Ringo? There's not many British Invasion drummers left.
