I don't think he was that kind of a priest.  In fact, he actually tried to get a handle on the pedophile priest problem but was a bit slow in his efforts and he was heavily criticized for that.  Yes, he was a member of the Hitler Youth movement, as were all 14 year old German boys at that time.  He didn't attend any of the Hitler Youth meetings and his dad hated Nazis.  That being said, the future Pope was drafted and assigned to a German Infantry unit, (anti-aircraft corps) shortly before the war ended.

Did anybody mention the pedo Nazi Pope dying?  Oh, yeah.  I did hear a story about a Brigham Young football player who died working a part-time construction job over winter break in his home state of Hawaii. That really hurt to read that news. I've had a friend crushed by a retaining wall. My friend lived a little while but ultimately died of the injuries.

The three original pointer sisters have now passed away. June who was the youngest died pretty young in her 50s in 2006. Ruth (who is the oldest) who came in a little after is still alive.
