When Madonna complains about music, something's really fucking wrong...
Heh, heh, heh.  I like the 80's new wave stuff but things really started going down the toilet in the 90's and hip hop, rap, AKA noise are just the final nose dive into the ground.  I can see why this guy offed himself.

Johnny Carson often made jokes about Forest Lawn, surprised he wasn't interred there.

The stories of the relationships not only between the band members themselves but the band members parents is interesting.  Truly a family, dysfunctional, yes, but they kept in touch with each other.

Scott Wilson, who played the farmer Hershel on the television series The Walking Dead, died yesterday at the age of 76.  Walking Dead fans will remember him as the wise, white bearded man who gave Rick Grimes and his followers sanctuary after they fled from a walking dead filled Atlanta, Georgia.  Hershel was a peaceful and wise owner of a large farm out in the country and despite the fact that he had a barnful of walking dead creatures (his family members and close friends) he did manage to instill in Rick and gang that there was more to life than just going out there and killing living and nonliving human beings.  Then the evil Governor (the series first major villain) captured Hershel and beheaded him, a major bummer and I almost stopped watching the show but I'm glad that I didn't because The Walking Dead is a super interesting, life afferming television show and while there is lots of blood and gore, there is also a wonderful sense of the gift of life exhibited.  I have really enjoyed this series over the last eight years.  Oddly enough, Hershel returns in season nine of the show (starting today if you want to watch it on AMC with all the commercials.) but, from what I've read, he is seen as a hallucination of a dying Rick Grimes.  Yup, Rick dying is going to be a major obstacle in my continuing with the series but what the hell, I'll probably keep watching it.

By the way, Scott starred in some other top flight movies such as In Cold Blood (the vicious killer Dick) The Great Gatsby, The Right Stuff, Pearl Harbor, and G.I. Jane, just to mention a few.
