Not that I know of but he was in WWII submarine movie during the 50's but the big screen is not what made him truly famous.
Don was in the Lancaster/Gable movie Run Silent, Run Deep. Jack Warden, too. I saw Don talk about it once. As a gag, he and Warden stripped down to their undies and were wrestling around on a mattress. They made sure that Gable would see them. Clark took one look and walked down the set, shaking his head. "I think there's a couple of queers there," he said in his familiar Clark Gable voice. "I don't know."
