We had an inch or two as well. Not my photo but it is a good shot of the local marsh.

Have you climbed those mountains back there, Bob?  I agree with KSM...  Wonderful!

My mountain climbing days are behind me, but the one on the left, in shadow, about half way, once upon a time.

The return of the yellow crocus. This pair of crocus have popped up for a number of years now, adding some color to an otherwise lackluster, dry patch of ground.

Always nice to see them. First sign of spring and all.

Sadly, there is no sign of the purple Mardi Gras crocus that used to appear in a timely manner during MG.
Here it is as pictured 6 years ago: https://ellgab.com/index.php?topic=359.msg165771#msg165771

Right on time, the raft of crocus in the back yard.

Or should that be a carpet of crocuses?

Yes, the crocus season is definitely upon us. I came across this nice splotch of yellow while out on a neighborhood walk a couple days ago.

3 o'clock in the morning and I noticed a strange, luminous cloud off in the distance. A funny thing because there was no moon to be seen that night, and there are no city lights in that particular direction.

Maybe that’s the accrued interest on daylight savings.
Are we having fun yet?

This solitary one of a kind appeared overnight on the front lawn. White crocus I presume.

Which inspired me to take a walk on a trail towards the river.

That feeling when you know there's someone watching you.

He wasn't there the last time I passed that way. Like he was waiting for me.
