He was supposed to retire on the Mayan calendar end date back in Dec 2012.
But now sounds like he will keep going until he dies in the studio on the air, he and Tommy have talked about that scenario before!

He stopped getting his annual 5-year extensions a few years back. Maybe it expires this year or next???

It could be said he retired long ago - about the time it became clear Art Bell was not coming back. 

We could also say he never really started - he was a fill-in to keep the seat warm for Art's return, and Art didn't want anyone good enough to keep the job if he wanted it back, i.e. he never earned the job of national radio show host, was terrible from the start and never improved.  Or even tried to improve.  Retire from what?

I'll admit that I have not listened to Snoory in a very long time. The last time that I listened to C2Cam, It just has way to many commercials breaks in which it messes up the flow of the show. But its happens not just to C2Cam but other talk shows on the AM/FM radio stations.

I really couldn't say how long it's been since I listened to a show.  I'm almost certain I stopped listening before John B Wells was ever on.  Some of my last shows were the first two George Napp did with the guy talking about disappearances in the National Parks.  My last Art Bell Coast show was when he had someone named Starfire Tor on, that was him jumping the shark.

Every once in awhile I watch Ancient Aliens, and Drooly's f'ing on that.
