I regret searching that word...

I banned it after talking with the late, Dr. John Bindernagel, told me in 2015 when I met him, that the word "Squatch" literally nearly destroyed his 70 years of research.  As he'd been trying hard to bring this topic to relevancy and prominence.  Then the television shows and "Squatch" came, and turned the research into a mockery, in his mind.  So I banned it!

"Charles M. Schulz, intentionally added Franklin to the cast of characters in 1968 in an attempt to thumb his nose at racism, which was rampant during that time, the civil rights era.

The comic creator added Franklin to the “Peanuts” cast after a white teacher wrote Schulz in the days after Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination, and asked him to include a black character among Charlie Brown and his friends.

The teacher, Harriet Glickman, said that Schulz could make a big impact writing a black child into the previously all-white cartoon.

Schulz’s editor was reportedly against including Franklin in the cartoon for a variety of reasons.

Schulz reportedly told his editor, Larry, “Well … let’s put it this way: Either you print it just the way I draw it or I quit. How’s that?”

Thus Franklin was “born.”"

14, I like the way you suggest natural remedies.  The simplest the best, in many cases.  You are so right about the toast.  Didn't know about the others as much.  And water/fluids.  Seems like a contradiction, but important to avoid dehydration.  Our "gut brain" has to be kept well.

Isn't life weird!  The gut brain, the legs heart, muscle memory, the right brain controlling the left body, the left eye taking things to heart, and so on.  It would be very difficult to really define humanity.

Amazing how our bodily components are so interconnected, isn't it?  And if given the chance, how our bodies can try to heal themselves.  A loved one of mine, recovering from a stroke, is slowly regaining the abilities that were damaged.  I believe his brain is rewiring itself.  I notice his improvements.
