Art was great at making the mundane entertaining. Look at the classics he pulled out of open lines and just random topics. Snoory takes the interesting and makes it a yawn fest. Such a shame really.
And it’s not that every topic has to have mountains of evidence. Many topics you know are probably a yarn but hey it’s 12:30am and it’s fun to believe. It’s when the wacky conspiracies are turned into a political tool for international communism. Like peak oil. And climate whatever. And cooked up pandemics.
Man I wanted those flying cars to be a thing. We were supposed to have those in 10 years back in ‘95.
Great summary. Ha! Flying cars! Where the hell are they? I remember when Art had Paul Moller on, September 19 2002.
“Dr. Paul Moller has worked tirelessly towards his dream: the Skycar, a personal flying car that could take off from any back garden of street and be as easy to fly as a car is to drive, if not easier. Moller International was founded in 1983 by Dr Paul Moller, a Canadian-born US engineer, to design, develop, manufacture and market personal vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (VTOL).â€

"You know, Ray, everytime I think of things in the future, I think of the Jetsons."
