Art's thing was so much more diverse than much of what's going on nowadays. When you do have diversity, kind of like C2C, the host isn't smart enough to follow along.

Heh, heh, heh... bad at being a radio show host, bad at singing, bad at telling jokes... good thing he’s good with the ladies.  Well, at least the cat ladies.

Here's the Director's Cut. Noory comes into shot at the fourteen-minute mark. Note how royalty is often honored by flowers placed ahead and behind them. Not Noory. His entrance is marked by piles of horse manure basically surrounding him and Tommy. And how no one seems to know who Noory is, with him being basically identified as some local radio-station person from AM 640.
