Their math on number of sunrises is off but pretty cool article.

I think this outfit has a better chance in the long run over Bigelow's plans, one BB could put him out of business.

Do you think NASA's, JPL,etc IT system admin, secretaries, or their software has to delete or move to spam a lot of emails, pdfs, of calls coming in from RCH, Bara, Bradenberg, Morningstar, etc etc, or their fans, when these Mars missions happen? They seem to put their contact information on so many press releases and papers and I wonder if that causes them any headaches, stalkers, unsolicited invitations to "imaging panels," etc?

Who took this lander’s picture? I don’t see any sign of an arm extending from the lander to hold the camera.

No surprise that the robot would like Kraftwerk but the other parts are interesting/troubling. Our AI has also become fragile snowflakes??

China has just landed a lunar rover on the far side of the moon.  It will carry out some cool experiments on the dark side, which really isn't all that dark.  (The far side of the moon receives just as much sun light as the side that faces us.)

What's not reported in most places is that the place China landed is near the south pole. It has military significance in that it is near frozen water supplies and is in a location that can monitor the earth at all times. China has a schedule to create a permanent manned station on the moon in a few years.

Sure they did.  I believe this about as much as I do the US landed on the moon in the 60s.

Apollo 11 Saturn V Launch Pad Camera E-8 at 500 frames per second. Amazing view of the F1 engines at liftoff:
