I am thinking that oral sex wasn't in the picture for these folks. Although if they had bass players hanging around..

There is a strong legion of bass groupies for a reason...

Pretty soon I can finally adopt a cat again. One of the ones I'm keeping an eye on has extra toesies! @FISH Tippy won't be the only Ellgab poly if I succeed in adoption!
Time spent with cats is never wasted.

Have you thought of fostering? Getting kitties socialized before they get adopted.

And they munch on each other as they stink up the room. Yuck!

I was a bass player for a for a while just because I was bandless and wanted to get out of town for the summer and it was an "A-Room"    It really was odd to say the least.    Each night I felt compelled to announce over the system that I was NOT an actual bass player.  Bass players in general are the Newfies of musicians.
Merry Christmas.

I had a slightly older friend who got a lot of gigs switching over to bass. He played with Steve Jones and Belinda Carlisle. While I already was playing bass, I went pretty much full time when I saw how much more I could do and how many more doors I could get through...

Hopefully it was the pudgy, drugged out 80's version of Belinda.  Not the plastic Belinda 2.0 version.

Oh, it was "made-over" Belinda.  She may have said she was clean then.  I can't say the year exactly, early 90s?

Funny, he told me that he used his Hondo II bass on some of those gigs.  So, if you ever see old mid 80s to early 1990s footage of Steve Jones or Belinda Carlisle and the bassist has a baby blue P-Bass-looking instrument, that's a freaking Hondo!

Tippy and I have high hopes for your adoption of a Hemingway cat @Spookcat .
I found Tippy as a kitten in my backyard. I guess -- Tippy adopted me.
A good read--

You're one of them? Ahh man I'm sorry..  :'(

STEVE JONES - I have his solo album on cassette. Couldn't find it in any other format so I used the RCA out jacks into my computer to take it to the digital level (sort of)  Some great original songs on there but this is good too  :) @sean92008 You can hear Axl and Ian Astbury all over the album. I suspect they had a shit ton of fun with that project.

Merry Christmas.

@Walks_At_Night Did you get a knock on your door yet?

Not yet and hopefully never.  Wonder how much these "volunteers" are knocking down an hour?  Walking around in 90 degree heat to pester people.  Bleech.

Got in the truck this morning, when the radio came on it was some genius on the news saying ''knocking on doors has never been illegal''.

It amazes me the way main stream media can spin anything to make what they want to do ok, and anything else is, well, you know, racist.
