I just listened to RCH on AB where Art says "Stop!" to RCH.

At the end of the show, he's giving the bulletin board telephone number... Not the internet!
Eh, nevermind...

Wish I knew.

I've been drifting between awake and asleep. 🙁

A clue might be RCH was talking about the astronauts finding the door to one of those structures in the moon and seeing a structure called "the bridge "

On U7 radio until about 9 a.m. PT this morning. @KSM

Damn,  I've got all the RCH appearances and now I'll have to go on a 3 day 24/7 RCH binge.  This is really going to screw up the Nose Name game.

Better make some coffee  :-\

At the end of the show, he's giving the bulletin board telephone number... Not the internet!
I remember those early Art Bell days mid 1990s pre-internet and pre-webpage.
Art had a modem-based BBS where you could call in with your dial-in modem and make an account there.

I downloaded an image from his BBS back then of Max the crystal skull.
With the slow 2400baud speeds back then that took quite awhile to download even though today it would only take a second.
I eventually upgraded to a super fast 19.2K modem!
I still have that image file to this day!

During morning coffee this morning I had on a classic about reincarnation with guest, Walter Semkiw. After Art released his guest, he opened the lines for the remainder of the show.  For a few callers in a row Art had to remind them to "extinguish thy radio"  By about the fourth moronic caller he, Art, had had enough! Went on a pretty good 4-5 minute rant. Sort of refreshing.

Last night Iistened to an open lines show from 1997 where Bell kept harping on his website and the "world wide web"(not the "internet.")  It reminded me of why Phil Hendrie did the C2C/General Johnson Jameson parody where the general loses it.  It was also entertaining hearing callers ask questions about computers and the web.

Has the topic of "www" been brought up here? You know, saying "double-u double-u double-u" is actually triple the syllables of saying "world wide web."

As I recall, depending on the website's service provider, "www" wasn't even needed for most websites back then.
Eh, nevermind...

Yeah Art was always on the cutting edge of technology.
He had a show telling the problems he had upgrading to the new Windows 95!
He also experimented with an early webcam where you had to dial in to it with your modem one person at a time to look at him moving around during the live show for a few seconds. While you were the one active on his studio webcam you could also type direct text messages ro him

The redirect from artbell.com to artbelllegacy.com is working again. I think I checked last week and it wasn't. I don't know why they couldn't just use artbell.com...

Listening on U7 to a Father Malachi episode when C2C was still part of the CBC network.

They announced it was a replay, but did not announce an original date. Shame they didn't realize the value of the original air date.
Eh, nevermind...

I went over to Ultimate Art Bell. 5/27/94. Seems like an open lines show. Clinton pounding desks, incompetent republican campaigns, China being the largest economy within 15 years, Korea, 2nd amendment, all the planets on one side of the sun... Just some random show.

What has George sNoory done lately?

(Doc Democrat, Leonard from South Dakota were in subsequent calls)
