                 What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

Mrs. Thompson makes no comment regarding "Daughter and Wife," but she does address the letter writer, E.B.R. herself.  In fact she points out four or five things to her.  Any idea what?

Move out of the MIL's home. Concentrate on your own family. Try not to quarrel. Keep a sterile needle and some green soap at hand at all times.

A loveless marriage will screw you both up in the long run and even worse the children. Figure out how to forgive and find the spark that you two had in the first place. If that doesn’t work, it’s time for someone to pack their bags.

1. "One roof not large enough for two families."
2. Better to live alone than with either's parents.
3. Things will hopefully get better for E.B.R.

Dear Dimps,
Don’t be a nag. He says he’s coming back. Let him explain then. You don’t say how old you are. Perhaps too young?
Merry Christmas

Dear Dimples,

Do you really have dimples? Since you state you care for this man and he tells you he cares for you, be patient. Let him explain when he returns like he said. There will always be time to be a demanding bitch later.

He is unloading the other girl.  Maybe one last roll in the hay.  Give him a chance to explain, maybe this will work out, but expect the worse.

Dimples,

You are not in a position to “demand” anything. While he loves you,, all you can even admit to is a tepid “I think a great deal of him.”

Bite your tongue, bide your time, scrub with green soap and use a needle.  Unless you are engaged.

Are we having fun yet?

You sit yourself down and wait. Don't you demand anything. Write him some nice letters and don't ask about that reason again.
