To me, Jeremy was always the best Sherlock Holmes. Like Tom Baker will always be the best Dr Who. I haven't wanted to watch the new Dr Who because I am afraid of being disappointed.  :-\

I chafe at the constant churn as to who's the next season's Doctor and yes Baker was the best.

That said, the season with Chris Eccleston was quite watchable, imo.

I think I first ran into him in that zombie vampire apocalypse film "28 Days Later".

Guy has some chops.

I loved Eccleston as The Doctor.  One season was not enough.

Bernie played Dr.Who? Well zillionaires have their hobbies and that is certainly more safe for work to discuss than the old F-1 boss's antics.

He was my first doctor and introduction to Doctor Who.

Full disclosure, he was excellent, but I may have had a slight crush on Rose Tyler... :P

Totally, and really Dr. Who bridges 2 genres, BritCom and Sci Fi.

Ever watch Torchwood?
