Two nights ago we watched, Free Solo. The docu about the guy who climbed El Cap like a kid climbs a 8ft tree in the front yard. Although I do recommend everybody see it, I was a little disappointed that the actual climbing of the face all happens in the last 12-14 minutes of the film. I understand the build up and back story approach but all through the movie I was like "Dude, get climbing already"

He did it in 3hrs 56 mins. Astonishing.  Are you afraid of heights?

I guess ObsoleteOddity creates documentaries. 
His video on “Black Dahlia - The Short & Sad Life of Beth Short” is excellent.

@FISH Thanks for putting that one up. I thought I had seen them all when it comes to her. The discussion of her rumored underdeveloped genitalia is left out here. What a horrible way to go.

@KSM currently I have been watching Oddie's Historical Feature on YouTube. This fellow ObsoleteOddity features odd short stories. I like his shows. His “Black Dahlia had some good photographs. Not sure about her rumored underdeveloped genitalia.  :o What a horrible way to go!

Last week I read your posting about MIL and the women in black. It reminded me of the Evelyn McHale story.

@KSM after all these years, it remains a sad story about a sad young lady. 
Evelyn left behind so little to hold on to. In the end, there is not even a grave site; she was cremated, according to her wishes, and no marker or tombstone exists.

Thanks @Bart Ell !  I'll check it out.  I wasn't there but Walks_At_Night Sr. sure was.
