To be honest, I didn't know Ricky Gardner's name. Tony Visconti referred to him as being great or brilliant, he must have been most of that.

Moment of silence for Vangelis. Who composed most of the music for the original Cosmos series, Blade Runner, and Chariots of Fire. RIP.

"John Aylward, the veteran stage, TV and film character actor perhaps best known for his turn as surgeon Donald Anspaugh on the NBC medical drama ER, has died. He was 75."

Painter, recording artist, actor, singer, songwriter and Bob Dylan sidekick Bob Neuwirth has passed at the age of 82.  Bobby did some great free style acting in Dylan's Don't Look Back and Renaldo and Clara movies.  That was him (from the waist down) standing behind Dylan, holding a camera, on the Highway 61 Revisited album cover.

Great music for a great movie.  Before Covid, it would usually be shown once a year or so in the artsy-type theaters.  I hope they start doing it again soon.  “Blade Runner” is one of those movies well worth enjoying on the big screen.

Vangelis, the Visionary, was able to "paint" color with his compositions.

I only know him from American Graffiti.

Bo also played a delightfully crooked detective, working with the Turkish police in Midnight Express, plus several Sam Peckinpah movies.

Ronnie Hawkins has died at the age of 87.  Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks.  A number of The Hawks would later become The Band.
