Actually it was 09, 11 and then 2015. On the 2015 Christmas we had a few couples (or as you call them "freeloaders") over. We had a company complimentary liquor section for guest as well as a second section that consisted of my stuff. My stuff! Guests don't usually know the difference between a 12-year scotch and an 18 year, so I didn't want anyone else drinking my good stuff. Bruce was pouring from both stations without any regard for the situation. Eventually one of the others guys did the same.  It was too much.

Bruce was a great and quirky guy. Huge NDP guy, but I looked past that because I can compartmentalize the many complexities of interesting folks like him.

After some thinking, I did not play bass on those two songs. I played on a few others from a different session.

Looking through an old hard drive I came across this from 1999. Really wish I would have sang it with the same zest that I sing with now but it sort of does the trick for what it was back then. Band was called White Knuckle Ride. My future wife and I were driving through the BC canyon when I suddenly had a name for the band. She was driving

See? You know what I'm talkin' about. Overall a very dry recording too. Somewhat lifeless. That session inspired me to start my own recording facility.  The guy had 2 linked Roland 8 track hard disk recorder back when they were the new hot thing.

I thought it was a very nice song, @KSM.  Myself, I liked the smooth voice, and when you sang high it kind of reminded me of Zebra, a band that I used to like and listen to.

I believe you, Bart.  Looks like the band has re-grouped, Randy and the other two guys.  They've got dates clear into November & will even be playing at Elvis' Graceland.
