I bet not! But thank you for doing it. And say HI to Mrs. T for me.

Thank you, anniem.  Mrs. T says hi in return.

Yes, troops, how can Longingness regain the friendship?  Mrs. Thompson describes some things she should, (and shouldn't) do.  And has the boy tired of her?  If so, how long should Longingness wait around before she writes him off?

Oh geez. I might have to go meditate on this one in a Thai temple and get back to you.
Are we having fun yet?

He might not be tiring of you, you might just be over thinking what the relationship is.

Do:  Talk with him about your friendship and your expectations.  You need to learn what he thinks. He needs to know what you think.   If you're just friends, then get over it, he's looking for his girl.
Don't:  Get all emotional on him since your just friends at this point.  Best to stay calm.  Stay hands free and don't grab his crotch yet, since this could all be a friendship thing.

Decide where this is going, then you pick the direction.

I wonder if there are any existing plans for a future outing...I guess not or she would have mentioned it. Next time she sees him if they can chat on their own she should ask him about it and see what he says. He might be playing hard to get. Don't get all worked up or upset, just find out what is going on. If he is not interested in some sort of future, then don't wait at all for him.

Longingness, it does not sound like you lost his friendship. You are still friends. He has not grown tired of you. He does not dislike you. YET!
Friends do not grow tired of each other. Friendships are destroyed. Sound like you are going to destroy this friendship. Do not ask him if he prefers other girls to you. Have more pride. Let him freely talk to you. Let him freely offer to walk you home or more.
You have a one year friendship with this guy. He seems to enjoy your company as a friend. Continue going to parties and basketball games with him, if you want a friend. You can write him off as a friend at any time.
Who knows how many other times, he offer to walk other girls back to their homes. As they say --He's Just Not That into You.
Just stop believing that you are almost engaged to him. It is not impossible for him to want you as his girlfriend in the future, but it is not probable. He likes you like a friend. Take it or leave it.

PS: Do not try to seduce him. You will become a grass widow.

Show him you are interested in him on a sexual level or expect him to move on.
A man has needs and one of those needs is not a cold woman!
Dress to impress.
Hold his hand.
Brush by his crotch with your skirt.
If you don't think you will ever want to sex him up then expect him to keep company with your looser friends.
Yes, looser.
Not a typo.
I did not mean loser.

He has grown tired of you. You didn’t show enough interest and he thinks you friend zoned him. Now he’s going to bang one of your your friends unless you give up the goods pretty damn quick. If you try to make him jealous in retaliation he will bang them both. Don’t wait around, act fast!

Panties are gonna drop one way or the other. Will they be yours or someone else’s?

It doesn't seem your friendship is lost.  Perhaps he is testing you.  You both could be wondering the same thing at various times. You ~ "When is he going to tell me how he feels?"  Him ~ "When is she going to tell me how she feels?  He could possibly be interested in talking to your friends about how you might truly feel about him.  Talk about your friendship and all the good times you two have.  Maybe he will open up.  It was rude however to allow you to walk home alone, but again I say that it doesn't mean the friendship is lost and needs to be regained.
