Licensed 38 yrs, fairly inactive last 15 or so,  except for some 2M stuff when commuting, etc.  Easing back into the hobby this summer, just got a new Vanity callsign reflecting my hobby,  and hoping to upgrade later this year from General to Extra.

QTH :  central NC     Call not posted for obvious reasons...    :o    73.

Good to see so many HAMs on here!!
I also have a Kenwood 530 hybrid. Those old boat anchors sure sound good when the tubes are humming!
I used to be fairly active on the HHH net for a little while. I think I got half of all states out if that one. I still don't have my WAS yet.
Anyone still paper log? I also use QRZ as a logbook. Was on LOTW until I let my ARRL script expire. Planning a 20 meter vertical loop before winter sets in.

Why not just get the entry level Technicians License? It's relatively easy with a little studying and very low cost. No more code requirements to get started. All the questions and answers are online for review. Even a caveman can do it. You might also learn something in the process.
