Not many states had lotteries then, and I don't think any called them Lotto. Chips and dip not so popular yet that you could buy pre-made dip. "Dish soap" might've been written by someone on a shopping list, but they were all advertised as "dish detergent" or "dishwashing liquid".

In Canada we've called it the Lotto for years.

Again in Canada it is also called dish soap and soda is called pop.
