At this point in time

Seemsayin- see what I’m saying

Awesome

I didn't realize that "awesome" was a thing in 2019. Maybe that '80s word is used on Throwback Thursdays.

So, I hate it when someone starts a sentence with "So."    Sounds officious and condescending.  Makes me want to cut off his tie, tweak his nose or something.

That one *really* irks you. Let's hope that you're never in court when a judge says that!

Moist
Irregardless
Awesome (i worked with a bitch from the US and every other fucking word was this, it’s trite and used when you don’t know what else to say)

I seldom hear "moist". I often feel moist with this rainy weather, though (time to build an ark).

And it's every freaking live shot too.

This a reporter crutch word. :-X

It's no surprise that they use the same words. They read from the same scripts.

Folks

Perrrrfect

You're fine.

Welcome in.

I want...  (Instead of I'd like...)

What's your name... (Instead of Allow me to introduce myself...)

HelloHowAreYouWithNoTimeToRespondBeforeNextSentence.

Beauty pageant (Should be charm pageant or talent contest).

Animal "husbandry".

Yeah, that last one sounds like an alternative "marriage". I shudder to think who the "wife" is.

Cannabis.

Are we really all supposed to start calling marijuana ''cannabis'' now, because politicians and corporate marketing have decided it suits their purposes?

It might be an attempt at obfuscation. It's a bit like the Patriot Act.

"the N word" Just say it. It's not like I'm not hearing it in my head when you "N WORD" in conversation ::)

Taboos can give power to words. That's why I don't call myself "N-Word Nolan".

Come on, Horses. Those White toddlers from Minnesota and Black church ladies from Alabama could be members of Al Qaeda.
