Look, tipping is part of the meal/drink/service.  Just accept it.  Can't afford it, don't go out.  Have to be a jerk about it, don't go out. 

And some sort of pastor?  What a great example for the flock.


PS, why would I go to Applebees or any of these other chains when I can get Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Mexican, Salvadoran, etc, etc, better and cheaper.

I tipped 48% tonight to the room service woman. 22 is instantly added on for room service orders but when I saw how she went above and beyond with presentation and much more I had felt compelled to tip her extra at the room.

..also, I had my hair in a man-bun and was wearing a robe/housecoat with big wool socks and slippers so a little xtra may have been the right thing to do.

This hotel (Indigo in Everett) has a bar and grill called The Jetty that has a salmon chowder that you would eat by the bucket load every day.
