Well.. I must admit that I do do that sort of thing. If I spill some protein powder on the counter while on its way from the container to the blender, I will indeed lick it off the countertop. I've done it with whiskey too.

I do not find it to be all that abnormal..

If I understand the story correctly, some hood attempted to steal a Kia [Why?]  The hood takes the girl friend of the owner of the car hostage - in a car keys for the woman deal. The owner goes into his aprtment to get the keys but instead of doing so, goes out on the balcony with a hand gun and pumps three slugs into the hood without harming the woman.
