One of our rescues was uncharacteristically ok with his Christmas collar decoration after meeting Santa at PetSmart. Guess he was in the Christmas spirit:

She seems like the type who'd abandon her kitties.

For our fur friends best interest, I hope she has somebody rescue them.  Even if she doesn't move, her description of their behavior is such that it seems they'd do better elsewhere, with a healthy hu-man servant.

I don't own cats but seems to me that if you took a cat in as a kitten....it should let you pet it almost a year later....
