Thanks, Damon.

Go, Connie!  Doing great with the same guest for over 2.5 hours.  Great bumper music!

Could do without the drinking song, though.

A cutie pie.  Especially when he starts kissing her.

No argument, but women who trade pets for children engage in eternal smother love.

Unhealthy, imho...

Dang it, I like Connie. She's a little goofy but there's no drama, no tear-stained microphone and no phony vocal inflections. I'd rather listen to her than Lee Cigar with her soporific NPR delivery.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

Did anyone hear why the guest took her dog to be euthanized?

As far as him being scared, he could have simply been frightened by the presence of strangers.  Or a clinical environment.  Usually, dogs are well sedated prior to euthanasia.  She didn't say whether he calmed down.  I might have to go re-listen to this, but it was very sad.  Was he euthanized at home or in a clinic?

I wonder why there was only one guest.

Half an hour into the third hour it sounds like her dog had to go to the vet, where he deceased with her next to him.  Those are the only details I got, leaving a lot of questions.  He may have been frightened because his body was losing functions.

Yes agreed, and Ms. Connie usually has more fun/wacky topics.  Her shows are perfect to eat nachos and drink beer to, how can you argue with that.  Perfect example is her show tonite.  First guest made a documentary about a guy who predicted a crop circle.  Second guest remote-viewed a bigfoot.

I like her but I don't listen as much because she likes to either bring up drinking or play a drinking bumper music song.  Nothing wrong with that, except it alienates most people who are serious about recovering from alcoholism.
