Rated 1. For going out of his way to mention a type of alcoholic drink. The day after I had to cook for a client with a large amount of alcohol in the recipe. He did reign it in around the female callers tonight but the score stays lowest because a certain baseline is required just to get into the game. I can't believe I ever sent fan mail to a man who talks so much on the air about types of alcoholic drinks, who doesn't even scoot away from the mountains of alcohol bottles and drinks before being photographed.

10/11/19. Ranked a 1. Every time I started to listen, I shut off the radio due to condescending & demanding songs with lyrics like, "You used to think that it was so easy, but you're trying now" and "C'mon Baby, light my fire". I know the show's not over, but the score is so low that any more issues won't matter.
Did Art Bell play these two annoying songs? Baker Street & Light My Fire?
It isn't enough that George lauds women who spend all day on body sculpting, cosmetic surgeries, breast enhancement, exercise and beauty regimens, and it isn't enough that he said gorgeous L.A. women don't mean much to him if they don't have a great personality, too - - No, no, no, none of that is enough because now they have to Light His Fire, too (since his, uh, fire doesn't light up by itself anymore).

Well, he should have treated Linda Moulton Howe more respectfully. He was threatened by her success. While he might not be a totally lazy person, in respect to how things went with Linda and afterward, he is a lazy creep. Just as an analogy, if some famous guy was on the air and my name happened to come up, and he replied, "Oh, her. Whatever happened to her. How come she isn't on more?" I would not feel flattered at all, like he dredged my name out of his recycling bin. He trashed one woman and then publicly rummaged, finding another. She could be perfect, but the way he did it wasn't very nice. People who work with him deserve what they get. Buyer beware, for sure. And yes, I am just jealous. But that's beside the point.

You know Victoria's Secret told me they no longer their great crepe cream because now they feel, "Our demographic simply has cosmetic surgery. They don't need crepe cream." Sounds like they discriminate against hemophiliacs & others who don't qualify for or want elective surgery. And George praises Victoria's Secret models. Even though models like that are so anorexic they have to wear padded bras/swimsuits, & spend time in the hospital on I.V.'s.

He was raised Catholic. He doesn’t know shit about the bible but he remembers something about Christmas and Easter because he got new church clothes as a kid. Right before his mother taught him how to play baseball.

I'd be willing to bet if someone asked him for a definition of 'nativity scene' he wouldn't know.

Tonight's show is rated 6.99. On the one hand, it's great George wants more positivity, and it's great he gave the guest time to think of positives. But it was insane to project the need for positivity onto the guest (since George is the one with a macabre reputation). And, after the guest brainstormed for positives to discuss instead of a Kennedy assassination, the guest could only come up with another negative example, 9-11. At which point, George should have conceded and let the guest expound. After all, can you imagine preparing for Coast to Coast, and then after you arrive, being told they don't want to hear your thoughts on a Kennedy assassination or 9-11?! Rude!

I liked the Monday/Tuesday show as well . The Big Pharma guy didn't sound too insane which is always a plus. Then Nazi in Mars is such a great classic wild Coast type of story the it's fun to listen to such outlandishness which I always enjoy the few times Coast does this nowadays.

My research says the teleprompter gave him the wrong name and it was a costume contest in the pageant.
Well, frankly I find almost all men ugly when you start looking closely. And I'm not real fond of Steve's taste in clothes. I prefer most traditional garments which also probably cost less, even if the ostentatious ones are a tax deduction, but he is a star and they have to meet expectations.
It's what's between his ears that counts. He is a married man, and not afraid to say so. She must be a saint, though to tolerate all the sexual humor between him and gushing girls. I could not handle it by far. As a matter of fact, it limits how much I watch of him. But I admire his sense of humor. Sometimes I suspect he is very bored with Hollywood, but he probably enjoys philanthropy. I would hope.
That said, to sum it up, Steve is great! And so is his bride! I like him. Other than potty humor, he has not yet offended me personally, ever. Yay for Steve! Up with Steve! We love you, Steve!
George has a sense of humor, too, but it rarely gets expressed on the show. At best, the show just brings out a wry grin. I vote for more humor on Coast, and less existential angst. I guess that's a tall order. I remember one time recently when he squealed like a girl near the start of the show. A real one-time thing. Did someone in the studio pinch him, lol? I wish I was in Insiders so I could have recorded that. I posted about it at the time - did anyone go back and get a clip of it?

Yeah, I also remember that he has pronounced February, mixed in with the uber-cool FEB from time to time, though he obviously preferres the truncated version. With the exception of his complicity with snake oil salesmen, I find his ways to be harmless and fun in small doses...I mean how serious are we supposed to take this show anyway? Leave it to Syrett, Knapp and Punnit (I know he irks you lol) to occasionally mix in something fresh and less dubious...I guess what I mean to say is if I accept GN, FEB comes with the territory

It really isnt't so bad, except that his pecker pouch almost completely covers that miniature ween so that it looks like two mounds of flesh expelling a turd...

p.s. there was way too much build up for hardly any payoff. it's almost worthy of weeping, imo
