It depends on where you live. The coast is always really humid. Houston is really bad with the humidity. It's not and humid for me but not as bad as Houston. Even central TX, like San Antonio\Austin area gets humid. Summer is miserable.
At least in central Texas you can cool off in the shade. Where I live you just grow mildew in the shade.
My woods are 35 east of Waco. It gets hotter there than along the coast during the day but night time temps are much lower and the humidity is less. It can be stifling here when the night time temp is 85. It seldom breaks 100 where I live right now. Usually 93 is the high.
Today the temp here is 74. Humidity is 90%.
