Roast beef dinner tonight with all the goodies including Yorkies. This is the best way to do it IMO. Pour the entire mixture into one 8" pan and whoa!

Hello Ellflings! Anybody miss me? Even a little?  :'(

My evil electronic qi has been in overdrive. I somehow killed my new Fire after only having it for two weeks. Tried everything to get it working again even with Tech Support but no luck. Finally ordered a replacement which should ship out tomorrow. While preparing my dead one for return shipping I decided, for some reason, to plug it in. Started working immediately. After sitting for weeks. WTF??? I guess now I will have to deal with a "never mind" re-shipping.

I have been slow death to electrical/electronic gadgets since I can remember. This summer I killed my new desk fan. This week I killed my space heater but a friend was able to resuscitate it. I have a drawer full of broken watches. I don't think I have had a computer of any type last more than three years. My original Fire was one of my longest lasting computers. Anybody else have to deal with this?  If only my powers could be used for good instead of evil, the world might be a better place.

Oh well, I'm glad to be back. I have been here every day to click ads and pick up messages. But had to use my laptop. Which I hate using. It gives me headaches. Which is another weird issue. Hope everyone is enjoying the new year. Love

Mandalas are so beautiful. I know they are used for prayers and meditation. But I also thought sand mandalas were "uncreated" a very short time after being completed. To convey the principles of impermanence and non-attachment. Did you ever see the movie Little Buddha? A sand mandala is uncreated at the very end of the movie. Very symbolic. I've always been drawn to Tibetan Buddhism and studied it and incorporated its principles into my philosophy in my own usual haphazard way

Welcome back.  The Fire is not my favorite -I totally believe you!  i'm not sure about ordering online, but if electronics break a lot, I would shop at nearby stores with really good return policies and save packaging and receipts for 90 days!  Out here, one department store had a 6-month return policy forever!  If you lose a receipt, just replace the same product and then put the broken one in the vox with the receipt and return it.  If the employee accepts the return, you have been diligent enough, no harm done.  That's just my theory.

I wonder why the laptop gives headaches? Thank God for tablets!  I wonder if a mere Chromebook would give you headaches.  Chromebook s have abbreviated kevoards, though, and the backspace button is a stretch.

I used to have a cat that looked like your avatar.  He was a great cat.

I missed you, TL! What paranormal energies are surrounding you that's killing off your electronics?
My sympathy on your headaches :( I used to get them but now I wear glasses when using computers and occasionally reading, my vision is fine without them, but it's stopped the headaches.

I have heard of such a thing, but it was before tablets. He couldn't keep a watch going at all. Make sure your tablet holds a charge before calling off the replacement!

Not yuzu or porn lol. Mikans, or what we'd call mandarin oranges.  :)

I love mandarin oranges. But I don't wear them.  You can tell they are Japanese cats. The way the black and white kitteh was politely waiting his turn out of sight until the orange kitteh was done. Some day I should tell you about the completely different experiences I had waiting in lines in Japan versus China. Have you visited China since you've been there? Like two different universes. The best thing about China was how much cheaper it was than Japan. Everything else I would give Japan the definite edge

Thanks, @Bluejay . That is pure bliss on that kitteh's face. Makes me smile just to look at him

No, I haven't been to China. I was invited by a friend to go to South Korea once, but turned it down because Mr. couldn't go. I'm really hoping that we can visit New Zealand before going back to the states.
