I'd stick with the book, skip the audio version.   +1 for getting the quest.

Thanks, and fair enough! +1 to you too!  ;)

Since Damon had mentioned the cancelled high speed rail project, I figured some might enjoy seeing the fruits of a similar scale civil engineering project - the I-70 Glenwood Canyon project in Colorado. (It took 12 years and $490 million to complete, still less than a billion when adjusted for inflation)

 *40 bridges over 12.5 miles
 *15 miles of retaining walls
 * 2 4,000-foot-long tunnels
*150,000 new trees and shrubs planted
*30,000 tons of structural and reinforcing steel used
 * 810,000 tons of concrete used

With the Heather situation still somewhat uneventful there are things definitely afoot elsewhere.

Steinberg

He's removed all pleas for donations from the Paracast twitter feed:
https://twitter.com/theparacast

Every other tweet used to be a tale of woe and a plea for cash.   Nary a one any more.
Also, the links for donations on his website are gone:

"The Page You Requested Cannot Be Found"
https://www.theparacast.com/the-truth-about-gene-steinbergs-money-problems/

Dietrich

After Dietrich announced that his Vampire Mother was sent to Germany to collect Hitler sperm and impregnated herself with it almost 30 years later to produce the Douglas Dietrich
we all know and love, there has been a major shake up in the Dietrichverse.   Douglas turned on his staunchest ally, Rose Dio, most viciously.  She was the one that would post his videos on Youtube for him.  So after the betrayal, she deleted them.  All of them.  Going back years.    Rose Dio has now joined forces with Gunner65 in attacks on DDD.

Dietrich has a new producer replacement - A Canadian known as "Barney Rubble".  There is also a shadowy, UK-based figure in the background known as "Maggot.
Oh!  Also Gunner is fighting with a creepy, cartoon bear.  The bear recently dropped this on him:

So there is lots of stuff in flight out there............................

So what stopped Steinberg? Would love to hear that tale!
Give pees a chance.

I don't know Dynamo.  SchemeGene's feed seems to indicate that he's still at it:

I certainly don't see anything on the Paracast feed anymore.  Perhaps he is using email only?

Leo Buscaglia talked about how he would get in an elevator, turn his back to the doors and say  "let's touch". I've not tried this.
Thank you Bob's, I had completely forgotten about Leo Buscaglia, and how I used to love listening to him. I found him on YouTube, (of course), and would encourage all to check him out, you'll be an instant fan. Sorry he's gone, his words and sentiments are sorely needed these days.
I'd post a link if I knew how. Perhaps someone will.

Thanks for the memories!  I lived in Colorado from April 1983 until March 2002 ... @Dyna-X this was an awesome journey to retake this early morning ... you made my day! +1

Maybe his co host told him to stop using the official stuff - looks from the his Twitter feed that nothing has changed.

What a grifting bastard!

Or maybe the GCN network threatened to drop him?  Not sure.  On the other front the Rose Dio / Gunner65 alliance is
interesting.  It is the equivalent of Hallie joining forces with you.  Not much drama I guess but I'm trying to keep things
flowing during the drought..............    ;)
